How Greene Dog Consulting LLC got here, in Jason's words.
- 2014
Humble Beginnings
Founded to help a single family recover from a crisis with a young pup. Training began with intensive, weekly focus sessions at Lemon Lake County Park in Cedar Lake, IN to build stability and control.
- 2014–2015
Community Expansion
As word of mouth spread, training centralized at the Lake County Fairgrounds to accommodate growing demand. GDCLLC quickly bridged the gap between civilian and law enforcement training, hosting a police K9 Tracking Class through NILEA (Northern Indiana Law Enforcement Academy) in November 2014, followed by an intensive 2-day K9 Seminar (with a well respected K9 Organization) in 2015.
- 2017
Advanced Operations
Hosted a landmark 3-day K9 Seminar (with a well respected K9 Organization), delivering a combined stability, control, and obedience clinic alongside two dedicated days of tactical law enforcement K9 applications. Driven by skyrocketing interest, operations moved to our current facility.
- 2018–Present
The Barn
Training transitioned from outdoor property work and garage spaces into our dedicated facility, “The Barn.” Originally a modest 30'x32' space with an old horse stall, The Barn has evolved into a premier all-weather training ground.
