A dog that listens at home has to listen here too

Most dogs can sit in an empty kitchen. The test is a room with a dozen other dogs, strange people, and something to climb on. That is what a group session is. You and your dog work through it together, and the calm you build in the barn is the calm you take to the vet, the sidewalk and the front door.

Stability, Control, Obedience Training. Weekly we offer a challenge in working our dogs through stresses of multiple dogs in working in close quarters in, around and on various obstacles. This work is key in developing the needed communication between dog and handler to negotiate every day situations calm and under control. See the calendar for weekly times and locations.

What a session works on

  1. Stability

Your dog holds a position on, around and over obstacles: tables, platforms and cable spools.

  2. Control

You and your dog stay connected while other dogs work a few feet away.

  3. Obedience

A command is given once and followed through, every time.
